Manufacturer of S-500 "Prometheus" air defense systems will repair and maintain CT scanners and angiographs

Concern launches a federal program to support high-tech medical equipment

Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Concern has launched a program for comprehensive maintenance of heavy medical equipment in the regions of Russia. According to Boris Zalmanov, Head of the Service of the Department for the Development of Civil Products of the Concern, at the "Healthcare-2025" exhibition, the project is aimed at improving the efficiency of operation and repair of high-tech equipment in regional healthcare systems.

The program provides for the maintenance of not only equipment manufactured by the concern itself, but also complex diagnostic equipment — computed and magnetic resonance imaging scanners, as well as angiographic units.

The project became possible thanks to the combination of the competencies of the concern's enterprises and interaction with specialized partners. Almaz-Antey assumes responsibility for the comprehensive technical support of the entire fleet of equipment in the region, ensuring prompt repairs and reducing downtime in medical institutions.

The initiative is designed to create a unified system for servicing medical equipment, which will increase its reliability and the availability of diagnostics in Russian regions. The concern emphasized that the program is being implemented gradually and is already demonstrating effectiveness at pilot sites.

In addition, the company presented its own generator — one of the main components of X-ray machines, which controls the machines, gives commands and through which control is carried out. A contract has already been signed for the supply of more than 150 such generators for domestic manufacturers.
