The Roscosmos State Corporation and the Almaz-Antey concern are developing domestic equipment for the oil and gas industry as part of the import substitution program. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to him, Roscosmos has already mastered hydraulic fracturing technologies, and Almaz-Antey has mastered underwater production for the needs of Gazprom. The new equipment will be supplied to the Russian leader in gas production.
Manturov noted that the share of Russian equipment in geological exploration and hydrocarbon production has grown from 30% to 65% over ten years.
