From January 1, 2026, AvtoVAZ will return to a full five-day work week, the company's press service reports.
Today, the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, signed an order to return to a full five-day work week from January 1, 2026.
The plant had been working a four-day week since September 29, 2025. The top manager said in October that the usual schedule could be restored soon. Sokolov explained that observing a four-day week helped to avoid significant accumulation of Lada cars in warehouses.
