AvtoVAZ plans to revise prices for Lada cars due to increased production costs. This was announced by the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
The previous indexation took place in January 2025. It concerned Lada Granta and Niva Legend. The price for these models increased by 1.8%.
According to the head of AvtoVAZ, the company is unable to contain the increase in the cost of cars. This is due to the increase in prices for imported components and the dumping of Chinese automakers.
Maxim Sokolov emphasized that the cost of a car should correspond to the current economics of production. Therefore, the price tag will have to be adjusted.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Lada cars will become more expensive from May 12 of this year.
