S7 Group will begin construction of a second aircraft maintenance hangar at Tolmachevo Airport. This was announced by Vladimir Larin, General Director of the holding company "S7 Invest".
The investment construction budget of the project is 2 billion rubles.
The area of the complex will be approximately 9 thousand square meters. The site will be able to service the largest aircraft in the company's fleet, the Airbus A321, and other aircraft.
The hangar complex will include two main zones: a spacious single-story hangar with two aircraft bays and a two-story administrative and technical block with production, service and administrative premises.
The construction of a new hangar will increase the production capacity for aircraft maintenance by 1.5 times. The facility is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
