According to the data for the first 11 months of 2025, 143.8 thousand new passenger cars were imported to Russia through alternative import schemes, which is 14% less than in the same period of 2024.
At the same time, November became a record month: the volume of imports exceeded 32 thousand cars, and private individuals imported more cars than official distributors — 32 thousand versus 23.8 thousand.
The most popular brand of parallel import was Toyota: imports amounted to 25.6 thousand cars, which is 34% more than last year. BMW imports increased by 31% to 15.2 thousand units. Geely showed a decrease of 35% (15.5 thousand), and Li Auto reduced deliveries by 57% to 9.2 thousand cars.
Mercedes‑Benz also entered the top 5 with an increase of 25% (8.56 thousand cars). The top ten brands included Volkswagen (6.9 thousand), Mazda (6.1 thousand), Kia (5.4 thousand), Lexus (4.3 thousand) and Audi (4.2 thousand).
The total volume of alternative imports over the past four years is approaching 600 thousand cars.
