A unique example of the Soviet automotive industry, a 1988 ZAZ-969M "Zaporozhets", is up for sale in one of the villages of the Samara region. The car has been preserved in almost factory condition and has traveled only 2 thousand kilometers.
This "Zaporozhets" was constantly stored in the garage, where it was installed on stumps to avoid deformation of tires and corrosion of the suspension. Thanks to this "conservation", the car has been preserved almost in its original form - the paintwork, interior and units look like new.
The car is equipped with a standard for its era V-shaped gasoline engine with a volume of 1.2 liters and a capacity of 42 horsepower, which works in tandem with a mechanical gearbox. The drive is rear, the body is two-door, the color is beige. According to the owner, the car is "in full confident motion" and does not require repair.
The price of the "time capsule" is 155 thousand rubles - comparable to the cost of an average laptop. The car has an original vehicle title, one owner and a valid Russian number.
ZAZ-969M is one of the rarest and most interesting models of the late Soviet automotive industry. Finding a copy in factory condition today is almost impossible, so such cars become objects of collecting. For retro enthusiasts, this "Zaporozhets" is a chance to acquire a genuine artifact of the era, preserved in its authentic form after 37 years.
