The "Grinding Machines" enterprise (part of the "STAN" holding) has developed an automated SXS 512 machine for deep grinding of aircraft engine parts. This was announced by Anatoly Garbuzov, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow.
Machine tool construction is one of the priority areas of Moscow's industrial policy, Garbuzov noted.
The STAN holding, which includes the manufacturing company, creates equipment capable of providing enterprises with world-class technology in terms of accuracy, productivity and reliability.
Features of the SXS 512 grinding machine:
- Compatible with more than 10 types of materials (from hardened steel to nickel alloys)
- Advanced deep grinding technology
- Motor spindle and tool magazine of Russian production
- Electronic process control
The complex can be used, among other things, for processing working and compressor blades of the engine. It is expected that in 2026, "Grinding Machines" will establish mass production of SXS 512.
