Russian machines manufactured by "Grinding Machines" (part of the STAN holding of the Rostec State Corporation) are more profitable in the production of popular aircraft engines - PD-8 and PD-14. This was announced by the General Director of the company, Denis Chernyavsky.
According to him, the technologies offered by "Grinding Machines" are mainly used directly at the enterprises that build power plants.
The most important thing is the speed of response to the needs of our customers. That is, when shipping our equipment, we immediately offer a warranty period and a post-warranty period. Accordingly, our reaction speed depends only on the arrival time of our employee. And even if we take, for example, the Far East, today in 8 hours we can fly to any point in our country.
Chernyavsky noted that with the growth of production of PD-8 and PD-14, the demand for the company's equipment has seriously increased.
Our direct customer is the factories that make engines. And the second direction, we have now begun to actively cooperate with companies that make turbine blades. These are PD-8, PD-14 engines. Accordingly, it is necessary to increase the production volumes of these products.
Rostec noted that the partial replacement of full-scale tests of PD-8 aircraft engines with virtual models can speed up the creation of power plants with subsequent transfer further along the production chain of aircraft.
