UAC is working on transferring part of the "Superjet" production abroad

Supplying components produced in India to Russia is one of the corporation's goals

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) and the Indian company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) are working on organizing the production of the SSJ-100 aircraft in the republic. One of the goals of this cooperation is the supply of components produced in India to Russia, explained Vadim Badeha, head of UAC.

According to him, cooperation between Russia and India is reaching a new level, and the Superjet project creates new opportunities for the industry of both countries.

We set the task that Indian enterprises that will produce these components, elements, and assemblies, including supplying them to the Russian assembly line.

Badeha expressed confidence that Indian enterprises will cope with the production of the necessary components, assemblies and systems for Superjets.

Ivan Grachev, Chief Researcher at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, stated that the joint production of SJ-100 in India will strengthen Russia's position in the Asian aircraft industry market and help earn billions of dollars for the development of its own aerospace industry.

Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained to «Первому техническому» that it is not worth waiting for the start of production of "Superjets" in India in the coming years, it will take time.
