Passenger fleet is replenished: Gabion catamaran handed over to Neva Travel company

The vessel of project 04710 will start navigation in 2026

The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) has handed over the Gabion passenger catamaran of project 04710 to Neva Travel company. The leasing agreement was signed on December 1.

Gabion is the third vessel in the Sommers series, built at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant of USC as part of the GTLK program for the development of water transport leasing, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

The vessel will start navigation in 2026. The catamaran is designed for transporting passengers in coastal areas and inland waterways.

Characteristics of the Sommers project vessels:

  • Length — 27.3 m.
  • Width — 7.5 m.
  • Draft — 1.8 m.
  • Displacement — 92 t.
  • Speed — 11 knots.
  • Passenger capacity — 147 people.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the HSC120 passenger catamaran will be built by Pella and Si Tex.
