The Fort Shanets passenger catamaran of Project 04580 Kotlin has been delivered to the customer. A tripartite acceptance certificate was signed by the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant USC, the Neva Travel shipping company, and GTLK.
The Fort Shanets catamaran will be used on a water route connecting the center of St. Petersburg with the museum and historical park "Island of Forts" and the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve.
The catamaran combines the qualities of a river and coastal vessel. This allows it to function effectively in the difficult conditions of the St. Petersburg water area and the Gulf of Finland.
The construction of the catamaran began in 2024, and in July 2025, the vessel was launched. Its navigation debut is scheduled for 2026.
