The production sites of Omsktransmash (part of the Uralvagonzavod Concern of the Rostec State Corporation) are being modernized, according to the governor of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko.
At the end of last week, Omsktransmash was visited by the head of the Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov. Together with Khotsenko, he inspected the production lines and lines of the plant, which remains the flagship of domestic tank building.
Today, Omsktransmash provides the Russian army with more than 30 types of modern armored vehicles created by Omsk designers.
We discussed the modernization and re-equipment of the company's production facilities with the head of Rostec and the general director of the Uralvagonzavod Concern, Alexander Potapov.
As a reminder, Omsktransmash produces modern modifications of T-80BVM tanks, TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" heavy flamethrower systems, and PTS-4 floating transporters.
