The new UTS-800 training aircraft manufactured by the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will help the Air Force (Air Force) accelerate the transition of combat pilots to MiG-29 fighters in service. The aircraft will be presented at the International Exhibition of Defense and Military Industry EDEX-2025 in Cairo from December 1 to 4.
UZGA expects that the UTS-800 will be of interest to the Egyptian Air Force as a modern, economical and effective tool for training pilots.
Its key advantages are the potential reduction in training costs and ideal compatibility with Russian aviation equipment, which makes it a logical choice for modernizing the training fleet.
The press service of the plant recalled that the UTS-800 is unified in components and ergonomics with Russian combat aircraft.
This can facilitate and speed up the transition of Egyptian cadets to machines such as the MiG-29, which are in service with the Egyptian Air Force.
UZGA noted that the UTS-800 is designed forinitial flight training, professional selection and professional training of pilots.
