The Rostec State Corporation continues to strengthen the scientific and educational base of the domestic aircraft industry and industry. At a meeting of the Council of core scientific and educational organizations, held on November 24, agreements on strategic cooperation were signed with eight more leading universities in Russia.
According to the corporation, the parties intend to jointly develop advanced technologies, conduct fundamental and applied research, implement development work, and purposefully train engineering and management personnel for Rostec enterprises.
Among the new members of the Council are the National Research University "MPEI", RANEPA, Moscow State Law University, Kosygin Russian State University, Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev (KNITU-KAI), Samara University named after S. P. Korolev, Ufa University of Science and Technology, and the South Russian State Polytechnic University (Novocherkassk Polytechnic).
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, the General Director of Rostec Sergey Chemezov, as well as the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade Vladimir Gutenev.
The Council of core universities under Rostec was established in 2024. Its members already include such scientific leaders as Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MAI, and MIPT. After the latest expansion, the total number of Council members reached 28.
