Russian gunsmiths have become laureates of the Makarovec Prize for a number of advanced developments in the field of defense and civilian technologies. According to the Rostec press service, specialists presented improved combat solutions and innovations for the industry.
The winner in the nomination "For contribution in the field of development and production of special purpose products" was the team of authors who presented the development of a one-time bomb cassette. The second line was occupied by a work containing scientific and technical solutions aimed at increasing the range of barrel artillery ammunition. The third is an electronic projectile fuse designed to destroy UAVs.
In the category "For the introduction of advanced technologies and innovative solutions", the developers of new recipe-layout solutions and unified equipment technologies for UAVs received the gold award. Silver was awarded to the work on the introduction of additive technologies in the serial production of MLRS units, and bronze to the project for controlling the parameters of the laser control channel of sighting systems.
High marks in the field of civil products were received by the developers of safe technology for equipping percussion caps, the creators of friction stir welding solutions for shipbuilding, as well as the authors of equipment for increasing oil and gas production.
