Russian tankers have revealed a non-obvious feature of camouflaging combat vehicles: even a perfectly sheltered combat vehicle can be betrayed by tracks on the ground, which are recorded by reconnaissance drones. It is them that have to be carefully "smoothed out" after each maneuver.
Tank commander with the call sign Voron explained that in wooded areas, equipment is hidden with the help of branches and trees. But in open areas , it is more difficult - it is enough for the drone to notice characteristic traces of movement to calculate the position of the crew.
If these are rooms, hangars, then it is more difficult, harder. Because if the car is put forward for work, these are traces, they always need to be masked very well.
Another tank commander with the call sign Aloe added that the battle is complicated by the minimal distances between the tank and the infantry. Crews have to work with jewelry precision in order to strike the target and not hit their assault groups.
Earlier "The First Technical" wrote that the main tank enterprise in Russia, Uralvagonzavod (UVZ, part of the Rostec Group), announced a reduction of some employees, explaining this by "optimizing administrative and managerial expenses".
However, it later became known that UVZ received a new order, therefore, the decision to introduce a four-day working week may be reconsidered.
