Проект за 26,5 млрд рублей закрыли: Росатом отказался строить ветроэлектростанцию в Воронежской области

The reason for stopping the project is that there is no electricity shortage in the region

The state corporation Rosatom has stopped the implementation of the project for the construction of a 220 MW wind farm in the Voronezh region.

The company carried out survey work, selected several sites, but eventually concluded that there is no electricity shortage in the region. They rushed into spending on preparatory activities.
Anatoly Balbekov, head of the Bobrovsky district

The idea of building a wind farm in the village of Sukhaya Berezovka, Bobrovsky district, was announced in October 2020. It was planned to create a wind farm of 88 installations, which was supposed to provide an annual electricity generation of 568.5 million kWh. However, specific deadlines for the project were never announced.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the first wind generator was installed at the Novolakskaya wind farm in Dagestan.
