The state corporation Rosatom has terminated the project to build a 220 MW wind farm in the Voronezh region.
The company conducted surveys, selected several sites, but ultimately concluded that there is no electricity shortage in the region. They rushed into spending on preparatory activities.
The idea of building a wind farm in the village of Sukhaya Berezovka, Bobrovsky district, was announced in October 2020. It was planned to create a wind farm of 88 installations, which was to provide an annual electricity generation of 568.5 million kWh. However, specific project implementation dates were never announced.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the first wind generator was installed at the Novolakskaya wind farm in Dagestan.
