About Novolakskaya WPP

The Novolakskaya WPP (total design capacity of more than 300 MW) is part of the Caspian wind cluster. The project was launched in 2020.

The site for the wind turbines was selected based on wind measurements (average wind speed of about 8 m/s). It is considered one of the best in Russia.

The WPP will consist of 120 wind turbines manufactured by NovaWind. The construction of the installations will take place in two stages: 61 will appear in 2025, the remaining 59 in 2026.
