Russian shipbuilding enterprises plan to launch five new cruise ships from 2025 to 2027. This was announced by Svetlana Goncharova, co-head of the commission of the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry for cruises, Deputy General Director of Mosturflot.
110 ships sail along Russian rivers, some of them are new, built in the last five years. There are three such ships with a total passenger capacity of 700 seats. The plans for 2025-2027 include the construction and commissioning of five more new ships, which is a thousand passenger seats.

That is, there is an update of 70%: the entire hotel part is changing, engineering communications, and this led to the fact that if earlier there were 36 thousand passenger seats on 110 ships, due to re-equipment, modernization, the number of passenger seats was reduced to 25 thousand.
