The series of liners is being built by order of the company «ВодоходЪ» within the framework of the state program for updating the river fleet. "Nikolai Zharkov" is the lead vessel laid down in April 2023, "Mikhail Zhvanetsky" in May 2023, and "Rasul Gamzatov" in June 2023.
