The flare occurred in the same "legendary" region 4274. The maximum radiation was recorded at 10:35 Moscow time. The score in the catalogs is X1.79.
The explosion on the Sun occurred after a three-day pause. The flare partially destroyed a large prominence. This may lead to an increase in the plasma cloud and the occurrence of magnetic storms on Earth.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a powerful X1.8 class flare, the first in five months, occurred on the Sun.
