AI content detection service planned for development in Russia

Ministry of Digital Development: Citizens will be able to submit their files, like in "Multiscanner"

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation is discussing the possibility of creating a service to identify content generated by neural networks. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Ministry Alexander Shoitov during his speech at the international forum "IT-dialogue."

According to the official, over time, more and more platforms will appear for generating content using AI, as well as services for "humanizing" texts.

It is assumed that citizens will be able to check. A citizen will be able to send their file and find out whether it was written by a human or generated.

This platform could work in the same way as "Multiscanner", which detects viruses in files, Shoitov added.

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation sees a problem with generated content in various fields, including the media. However, it poses a much greater threat to citizens in the hands of fraudsters, the Deputy Minister concluded.
