At the St. Petersburg enterprise ODK-Klimov, serial production of one of the most modern helicopter engines in the Rostec United Engine Corporation line, the VK-2500PS-03, continues to increase.
The time-tested VK-2500PS-03 engine has once again demonstrated outstanding characteristics: the increased power in take-off mode is 2000 hp, and in emergency mode - 2700 hp.
The engine is equipped with a modern digital automatic control system, which ensures optimal operating modes and reduces the load on the crew.
The power plant has confirmed its reliability during operation on various types of helicopters, including operation in difficult climatic and geographical conditions. Advanced engineering solutions and materials are used in production, which emphasizes the high technological level of Russian engine building. Serial production of the VK-2500PS-03 strengthens Russia's position in the market of aviation technologies, increasing the efficiency and safety of domestic helicopters.
Earlier www1.ru reported that production sites for components of the SJ-100 aircraft will be created in the Khabarovsk Territory.
