The freezer trawler-processor "Kapitan Geller" (project 170701), which is being built at the Northern Shipyard, is preparing for sea trials. This became known during an inspection of the enterprise with the participation of the head of the Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg, Alexander Sitov.
Today, a modern galley was launched on the ship, the next stage is sea trials.
"Kapitan Geller" is one of the most modern fishing vessels in the world. It can catch up to 150 tons of fish per day and freeze up to 100 tons of fish products. The heat generated during the operation of the trawler's main engine is used to heat the premises.
The trawler is designed for fishing in the Northern and Far Eastern fishing areas.
