The modernization of the small seiner-trawler "Nikolay Nechay" (formerly "Zalesye") has been completed in Kaliningrad. The vessel was handed over to the customer - "Marfish". This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The vessel's main engine was replaced, the power of the ship's power plant was increased, the shape of the bow was changed, and a superstructure with residential and office premises was made. The seiner has a new fish processing workshop.
Modern fishing and lifting equipment has been installed, and the trawling scheme has been changed. The vessel received two options for sampling the catch: unloading onto the deck by a crane or by a vacuum fish pump from a trawl located outside the board.
The fishing vessel "Nikolay Nechay" is designed for catching small herring species of fish and transporting them in a refrigerated hold. It can be used in the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.
Main characteristics: length - 30.73 m, width - 7.2 m, draft - 3.8 m, displacement - 509 tons, volume of liquid tanks - 200 cubic meters, catch volume - up to 1000 tons of fish per month.
