UAC Shows Su-57 in Paint Shop for the First Time

The combat aircraft received a familiar light gray color scheme

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec Group) has shown photographs of the new fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft in the paint shop. The combat vehicle is being prepared for delivery to the customer — the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It can be noted that employees of the aviation plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur are working on the nose of the fighter. The pilot's cabin is covered with polyethylene.

Rostec noted that new Su-57s are actively entering the troops, and modernized versions will receive updated weapons systems and engines.

It also became known that the "best friend" of the combat aircraft, the S-70 Okhotnik drone, weighing about 20 tons and with a wingspan of up to 20 m, equipped with an Al-41F turbojet engine, has entered mass production.
