Production of premium Exeed crossovers is starting in the Moscow region. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov. Previously, Mercedes-Benz cars were assembled at this plant.
Manturov noted that offers in a higher segment of cars are gradually appearing in the country, including the production of Voyah hybrids in the Lipetsk region and the assembly of Exeed in the Moscow region.
This also became possible due to state support measures, including through the fine-tuning of the recycling fee mechanism.
It is currently unknown which specific models will be produced at the plant. However, information previously appeared that the plant had received Vehicle Type Approval for the LX, TXL, RX, and VX models.
