Production of new hybrid versions of the Exeed RX crossover and the Exeed VX SUV will be launched in Russia. Both cars are already undergoing certification tests under two brands — Exeed and Esteo. It is not yet clear under which brand they will go on sale.
The hybrid Exeed RX and Exeed VX models will be equipped with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with a capacity of 143 hp. The first version will receive two electric motors with a total 30-minute power of 162 hp, and the second — three electric motors with a power of 223 hp. The specified 30-minute power allows you to significantly reduce taxes, in reality the cars will be much more powerful.
The hybrid Exeed VX will receive a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 156 hp and two electric motors with a total power of 462 hp. Thanks to the three-stage transmission, which combines the power of the internal combustion engine and electric motors, the total power of the system will be 618 hp. The C-DM hybrid power plant of the Exeed RX will provide a power of 605 hp. Both cars will be all-wheel drive.
Exeed production in Russia is carried out at the former Mercedes-Benz plant in the Moscow region. It is likely that the assembly of new versions of the Exeed RX and Exeed VX will begin there.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Exeed RX crossover received a configuration with an "automatic" for 5.26 million rubles.
