Exeed crossovers get cheaper in Russia

The Chinese premium brand Exeed (Chery concern) has announced a reduction in prices for the updated LX and RX crossover models in Russia. Depending on the configuration, the cost of the LX has decreased by 50 thousand-150 thousand rubles, and the price of the RX coupe-crossover has become more affordable by 200 thousand rubles.

The updated Exeed LX in the basic Business version has "dropped" 50 thousand rubles and now costs 3,040,000 rubles. The model was presented in June last year. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 horsepower and a variator.

The all-wheel drive version of Prestige AWD has decreased by 150 thousand rubles, its price is 3,675,000 rubles. For comparison, the top version of Premium AWD will cost 3,955,000 rubles.

The Exeed RX coupe-crossover in the basic Urban configuration has become cheaper by 200 thousand rubles and now they are asking for 4,550,000 rubles for it. This modification, which went on sale in November, is presented with a black leather interior, 20-inch wheels, LED optics and a panoramic roof.

The Urban configuration also includes safety systems - ABS, stabilization system and emergency braking assistance, as well as the Exeed Connect online services package and multimedia with a 12.3-inch touch screen. Under the hood of the RX Urban is a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 249 horsepower, working in tandem with a seven-speed "robot" 7DCT. From the Premium version, the cost increases to 5,340,000 rubles, where the engine is aggregated with an eight-speed "automatic" Aisin.

In June 2024, the first batch of Exeed VX crossovers was assembled in Russia. The cars were produced at the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow. The RX, VX and TXL models received OTTS (certificate of conformity of products), in which the assembly site of the cars was indicated as an enterprise in Esipovo. However, in fact, the industrial site has not yet been restarted. It was planned that this would happen in 2024, but crossovers are still supplied from China.
