Azimuth Enhances Aviation Landing Safety in Krasnoyarsk Territory with New Radio Beacon

The equipment will help to more accurately determine the aircraft's course and improve communication with the controller

Azimuth Production Company, a part of Rostec, has installed a special radio beacon in one of the villages of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which will improve the safety of aircraft approaching for landing. The device is designed to determine the course angle of the aircraft and receive voice messages via the "ground-to-air" channel.

Azimuth Company develops, mass-produces and supplies turnkey communication, navigation, landing and surveillance equipment for civil aviation. In addition, the company implements projects for equipping and re-equipping airfields and air traffic control centers.

Azimuth's solutions have already been implemented in airports in Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Abkhazia. The equipment is successfully operated in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Anapa, Orsk, Orenburg, Stavropol and other cities of the country.
