Three manufacturers of marine components — KMZ, NPO "GCCB Rechflota" LLC and Prohim LLC — sent a letter to the Ministry of Industry and Trade asking not to take away previously issued subsidies. It is addressed to the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
The ministry plans to return more than 1.1 billion rubles, which includes both the subsidies themselves and penalties. Subsidies were allocated for the development and production of marine equipment. However, due to the long implementation periods of the projects, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to demand their return. Nevertheless, some of the products have already been manufactured and tested.
The increase in the implementation period of complex projects was caused by reasons beyond the control of enterprises.
The letter states that the return of subsidies will have a serious impact on the financial condition of enterprises, create excessive financial burden and jeopardize the fulfillment of obligations under concluded contracts and general economic activities.
