Three manufacturers of marine components equipment — KMZ, NPO "GCCDB Rechflot" LLC and Prohim LLC — sent a letter to the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a request not to take away previously issued subsidies. It is addressed to the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
The Ministry plans to return more than 1.1 billion rubles, which include both the subsidies themselves and penalties. Subsidies were allocated for the development and production of marine equipment. However, due to the long implementation periods of the projects, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to demand their return. Nevertheless, some of the products have already been manufactured and tested.
The increase in the implementation period of complex projects was caused by reasons beyond the control of enterprises.
The letter states that the return of subsidies will have a serious impact on the financial condition of enterprises, create an excessive financial burden and jeopardize the fulfillment of obligations under concluded agreements and general economic activities.
