The "R-Flot" group of companies, which develops marine reverse gears for high-speed diesel engines, is preparing to terminate the agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and return subsidies. This was announced by the company's CEO Alexey Klepikov at the "Shipbuilding RU 2025" conference in Nizhny Novgorod.
Under the terms of the agreement, "R-Flot" was to develop and launch a line of gearboxes into mass production. One of the samples - "RRF-160" for the YaMZ-536 engine - has already been created and meets the technical requirements.
An industrial prototype was produced, completely Russian. That is, by and large, we have fulfilled the technical part of the subsidy that we had with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
However, further implementation of the project faced problems. Firstly, there is no sales market: the shipbuilding programs that the developers were counting on remained unrealized. Secondly, there were difficulties with the purchase of equipment - a Russian-made machine could only be delivered in 2 years. The company was forced to return part of the subsidy.
All my subsidies will be over soon. At the same time, we did not buy the machine, but paid the first leasing payment. That is, I am leasing equipment that will be brought to me in two years. Is this a normal scheme? We traveled, wrote letters. The answer is one - the equipment must be Russian. Return the money. We returned about 20 million rubles.
The company's CEO admitted that everything is in accordance with the letter of the law.
Unfortunately, we were unable to defeat bureaucracy, so our experience with subsidies from the Ministry of Industry and Trade is sad.
According to him, the contract with R-Flot will be terminated in the near future, they will have to return all funds subsidized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as pay fines.
