The company "Location Workshop" presented for the first time a new system of optical impact on drones in the form of a turret. The complex independently detects targets and only waits for a command to engage from the operator.
A representative of the developer noted that the operating range of the system is from 50 m to 1 km, depending on the density of the atmosphere and humidity.
The system affects sensors — thermal imagers, cameras, which are on board, blinds and ignites. The development is already being used to combat drones.
The turret requires a 12-volt car battery and a small supply of energy for the lasers to operate — a regular power bank.
