A video of the combat use of the laser air defense (AD) system of the "Nomad" detachment has been published online. The footage shows how the laser accurately destroys aircraft-type drones.
Then the results of the work are demonstrated — crashed drones with burnt wings and fuselage. The preliminary range of action is up to 2 km.
LaserBazz is also working on creating a new laser air defense system as part of the "Staff" project. During tests at a distance of 500 m, the laser burned through a model of a typical FPV drone battery in one second, demonstrating high speed of reaction and accuracy.
Such systems can significantly strengthen protection against small and fast drones. First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov explained that their use will become more active in the near future, as production volumes increase.
