Amid international sanctions, Lukoil received an OFAC license to wind down international operations

Lukoil plans to sell foreign assets due to sanctions, the company's press service reported.

In connection with the introduction of restrictive measures against the company and its subsidiaries, the company announces its intention to sell its international assets. Consideration of applications from potential buyers has already begun.

The sale of assets is carried out in accordance with the OFAC license to wind down operations. If necessary, the company plans to apply for an extension of the license to ensure the smooth operation of its international assets.

It is known that Lukoil gas stations were located in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, China, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Nigeria, Mexico, and the USA.

In addition, the company is present in countries where it explores and produces oil and gas — Colombia, Iraq, Iran, Côte d'Ivoire, and Saudi Arabia.
