«Лукойл» столкнулся с крупной хакерской атакой: работа компании приостановлена

Gas station payments are impossible, work programs are unavailable to employees

«Lukoil» has become the victim of a serious hacker attack. According to journalists, employees were advised not to use their credentials to log into work accounts to prevent information leakage. In addition, employees were unable to log into their computers, as a strange error message appeared on the screens, which looks like traces of hacking.

As a result of the attack, not only internal processes were disrupted, but also services for customers. It is impossible to pay for fuel at gas stations with cards. Access to client systems and internal databases was closed, which created difficulties for both the central office and regional divisions.

Access problems are confirmed by data from the Downdetector service. Employees report failures in offices on Sretenka Boulevard, Yakimanka and Pokrovsky Boulevard in Moscow, where security guards are forced to manually check data for admission to the building.

At the moment, it is unclear how long it will take to restore the systems. Last year, after a similar attack, the recovery took about three days.
