Unmanned tractors from the developer Cognitive Technologies are able to communicate with each other and execute various commands. This was announced by the founder and president of the company, Olga Uskova.
They can be released in a swarm, like in the movie "Interstellar", and then collected back. The second question is economics.
According to Olga Uskova, "smart technology" needs to be made accessible to farmers. These solutions should be budget-friendly.
This year, Cognitive Pilot (part of Cognitive Technologies)started mass production of autonomous tractors and robot agronomists in 2025. The equipment works without the Internet and navigation using AI vision.
