Designers of PJSC Yakovlev carry out a full cycle of system tests for the new MS-21 aircraft before being allowed to fly. They are actually "frozen, shaken and burned", said test pilot Oleg Mutovin.
He recalled that the MS-21-300 was created in broad international cooperation, and already tested and proven systems were taken for its design. But now they had to independently replace them with import substitutes, and before that - to manufacture, some - almost from scratch.
That is, they must be sufficiently miniature, small-sized. Then they must be tested in ground tests. That is, to prove their stable operation in bench conditions. There they are cooled, frozen, shaken. That is, vibration loads, temperature loads, and so on. And only after that, a separate system receives, as we say, flight suitability.
When the system is installed on board the aircraft, it no longer works by itself, Mutovin clarified, but in interaction with other systems.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatnew Russian tires for the chassis of MS-21 and SJ-100 liners have been successfully certified.
