Mobil-group presented the Domovoy anti-drone defense system in St. Petersburg.
The novelty of the system is that it works not only to detect but also to destroy intruder drones with interceptor drones. No one person can handle a large number of drones without the help of an automatic system. The system can detect and destroy dozens of drones at once.
The Domovoy system includes acoustic, optical (in any camera), thermal imaging, and radar drone detection systems. The built-in neural network processes the received data and forms the flight path of the unmanned aerial vehicle intruder (UAV).
The information is then transmitted to an interceptor drone, which automatically flies out to neutralize intruder drones. When a drone is detected, the system automatically determines safe interception zones.
One of the Domovoy devices is simply a smartphone; it has a microphone, it "hears" where the UAV intruder is flying from.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that new measures have been approved to protect transport infrastructure from UAVs.
