Mobil-Group presented the Domovoy anti-drone protection system in St. Petersburg.
The novelty of the complex is that it works not only to detect, but also to destroy intruder drones with interceptor drones. No one can cope with a large number of drones without the help of an automatic system. The complex can detect and destroy dozens of drones at a time.
The Domovoy complex includes acoustic, optical (in any camera), thermal imaging, and radar drone detection systems. The built-in neural network processes the data received and forms the flight path of the unmanned aerial vehicle intruder (UAV).
Then the information is transmitted to the interceptor drone, which automatically takes off to neutralize intruder drones. When a drone is detected, the system independently determines safe interception zones.
One of the Domovoy devices is simply a smartphone; it has a microphone, it "hears" where the intruder UAV is flying from.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that new measures have been approved to protect transport infrastructure from UAVs.
