The command of the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) has arranged a control comprehensive inspection of the Omsk Missile Association. This was stated in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The department clarified that the RVSN command commission will assess the skills of the crews and the training of command bodies.
During the exercises, in addition to the strike group of the Strategic Missile Forces, supporting forces with deployment to designated areas, as well as non-staff formations within the Central Military District, are planned to be involved in solving practical tasks.
After that, command and staff exercises will be held in the Uzhur missile formation under the leadership of the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Colonel-General Sergei Karakaev.
Also, autonomous launchers of the Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, and Barnaul missile formations were routinely deployed on combat patrol routes. The main goal of the exercises is to improve the coordination of military command bodies.
It is known that intercontinental ballistic missiles play a key role in the Strategic Missile Forces. We are talking about the RS-24 Yars, RS-28 Sarmat, Topol-M, and Avangard systems.
