The «Uranis» company from Sevastopol presented a new «Salgir» radio station, which combines increased noise immunity with low signal visibility. This was announced by the leading engineer of the enterprise, Alexander Roslyakov.
A special type of signal modulation allows you to protect the communication channel from interference and at the same time reduce the likelihood of detection. The low-frequency signal provides a greater range, although it is impossible to transmit large amounts of data.
The radio station is designed for stationary use and installation in cars to coordinate mobile groups. The system guarantees stable communication in difficult terrain — mountains, forests — and in the presence of intentional interference.
The station's signal is not suitable for transmitting video or large files, but it is ideal for operational messages, orders and alerts over tens and hundreds of kilometers. At the same time, the device can be useful in the civilian sphere: for example, for communication in remote villages or in industrial areas where there is no stable mobile Internet.
With the help of a stationary tower, you can cover hundreds of kilometers. People will be able to send messages or call emergency services via regular phones, Uranis explained.
