The United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) has delivered a batch of new fourth-generation Su-35S multi-role fighters to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The aircraft have passed ground and flight factory tests.
The Su-35 is designed to gain air superiority, operate in difficult weather conditions at long distances from the base airfield, and has become a transitional aircraft to advanced fifth-generation aviation complexes.
A Rostec representative noted that the state corporation's aircraft factories are operating at full capacity and maintaining a consistently high rate of delivery of combat aircraft to the troops.
The Su-35S combines the power of modern weapons, advanced electronics and unique maneuverability, which makes it a "universal soldier" for performing the most complex combat tasks - from covering aviation groups and ground objects to engaging air and ground targets of the enemy.
The Su-35S power plantbased on new engines with a digital control system and controlled thrust vector allows to significantly improve the maneuverability and flight performance of the aircraft.
