The updated Lada Niva SUV in the Sport version has received a new body color — "tabasco". This was announced in his social networks by Vladislav Nezvanin, head of the Lada Sport division. The car in this color has already appeared before — in April it appeared in a short video, and in May it was shown at the "AvtoVAZ Picnic".
Judging by the surroundings in the photo, the car is in a special assembly shop in Togliatti, where sports versions of production cars are assembled. At the same time, there is no way to order a car in a new color on the official website yet, only three old options are available: "Platinum", "Ice" and "Panther".
Lada Niva Sport differs from the standard version with a modified engine with a capacity of 122 hp with new camshafts, firmware and modified intake and exhaust. In addition, the sports version is equipped with disc brakes on all wheels, shock absorbers with "racing" settings, a rear suspension with a stabilizer bar and a reinforced beam, and ground clearance is increased to 220 mm (compared to 200 mm for the standard model).
The same body color was previously received by another AvtoVAZ car — the new Lada Iskra.
