FSUE "Rosmorport" intends to repair 34 icebreakers in 2025, 17 of which will undergo docking for regular (12 units) and intermediate (5 units) surveys. This was announced by Dmitry Timoshenko, Head of the Fleet Technical Operation Department of FSUE "Rosmorport".
"Rosmorport" strives to conclude long-term contracts with ship repair companies, which allows for timely repair and survey of large-sized vessels with a docking weight of 12-17 thousand tons. To this end, the company regularly conducts such purchases in electronic form, mainly in the Northwestern region of Russia.
According to him, the company's fleet includes 304 vessels of various types. 267 of them are undergoing scheduled maintenance.
Icebreaker repairs are carried out at 11 ship repair enterprises, including well-known companies such as JSC "Kronshtadt Marine Plant", JSC "Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet", LLC "Svetlovsky Shipyard" and LLC "Dalzavod".
