The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia (Mintsifry) reported that users of the "Gosuslugi" portal have made over 5 million payments for travel on toll roads. The service is used on highways with barrier-free toll collection systems, including the federal highways M-12 "Vostok", A-113 "TsKAD", and A-289 "Novorossiysk – Kerch".
Travel on the highway is recorded by cameras via the vehicle's license plate number. To make a payment, the user needs to request information about the vehicle in their personal account if they are the owner. If the car belongs to another person, the license plate number is entered manually. The toll charge appears in the "Payments" section of the personal account within 24 hours. This is relevant if a transponder or other payment method was not used in advance.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs noted that alternatives to the service include payment through mobile banking applications or the official "Avtodor" application. These methods are also integrated with the highway tolling systems.
