Two engines with a total capacity of 1,492 kW are installed on the TSHD 1000 project vessel

Specialists from "Semorok M" have completed the repair of the electrical equipment of the PLM 1215 grab crane installed on the dredger "Kronshtadt". The customer is "Rosmorport".

The ship's crew and a delegation from the company that supplied the new electrical equipment conducted tests in various crane operating modes. The work was carried out in the port of Makhachkala.

The self-propelled self-unloading dredger "Kronshtadt" is part of the flotilla of the Makhachkala branch of FSUE "Rosmorport". This three-deck vessel is equipped with aft and bow engine rooms, as well as an aft superstructure. The vessel is equipped with two engines with a total capacity of 1,492 kW, which propel it using two four-bladed controllable pitch propellers with a diameter of 2.2 meters.

"Kronshtadt" is a self-unloading dredger of the TSHD 1000 project, built in 2016 at PJSC "Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard" (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). The vessel was named in honor of Fort Kronslot, the first fortification of St. Petersburg, built in 1704 to protect the city from sea attacks.

Technical characteristics of the TSHD 1000 project vessel:

Vessel length — 60 m, width — 14 m, board height — 5 m, maximum/minimum draft — 4.25/2.95 m, gross tonnage — 1,663, autonomy for domestic waste — 7 days; maximum pump capacity for soil — 1000 cubic meters/hour, soil intake depth from 4 to 20 m, dredging range — 1500 m via onshore or floating pipeline, or up to 60 m onshore with a Rainbow nozzle. Cargo hold volume — 1000 cubic meters, there is a grab crane with a lifting capacity of 20 tons with a 3.8 cubic meter bucket, speed — 10 knots, crew — 12 people.

Earlier, www1 reported that the cruise ship of project PV300VD "Vladimir Zhirinovsky" will be completed at the Baltic Shipyard USC in St. Petersburg.
