ZIS-101 from a museum put up for sale in Novosibirsk

The price of the rare item is 95 million rubles

A unique Soviet car, a 1940 ZIS-101, has been put up for sale in Novosibirsk. The car was completely restored in 2024 and is currently in a museum. They are ready to part with such a rare and exclusive item for 95 million rubles.

According to the advertisement, the car has had only two owners in 85 years and has traveled 20,000 km. Under the hood of the ZIS-101 is a 5.7-liter engine with 100 hp, the car has rear-wheel drive.

The car was produced from 1936 to 1941 and was a Soviet analogue of the American Buick-32-90 with a redesigned body. The car in black was intended for senior party officials and the Soviet elite, and in blue, light blue and yellow versions it ended up in the Moscow 13th taxi fleet.
