On September 20, 2025, the «LADA Izhevsk» automobile plant celebrated its 60th anniversary. According to the official website of «AvtoVAZ», the company has produced 5.7 million cars during this time. The history of the production site began in 1965 with the release of the 408th «Moskvich». The plant joined the AvtoVAZ group in 2011, and in 2012 it began producing the Lada Granta in a sedan body, and in 2014 in a hatchback body.
In 2014, the plant began producing the Nissan Sentra, and in 2015 the Nissan Tiida and a novelty of the domestic auto industry — the Lada Vesta. May 2024 was marked by the start of production of the Largus station wagon.
In honor of the anniversary, the company held an «Open Day», where you could get acquainted with the full cycle of Lada Largus production, as well as visit excursions to the press and welding production areas, welding and testing lines.
