RSD59 is a self-propelled single-deck vessel of the Volga-Don max class, designed for sea and mixed (river-sea) navigation. The ship is equipped with two spacious holds and two full-circle rudder propellers, which increase maneuverability. The dry cargo vessel is designed to transport a wide range of cargo: from scrap metal, timber and coal to oversized and dangerous goods.

The main advantage of the RSD59 series is its versatility. Such vessels are capable of operating both on inland waterways and in coastal marine areas, which makes them in demand for Russian river and sea carriers. An additional advantage is the cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness of operation, which is especially important in the context of growing requirements for the shipping industry.

The dry cargo vessel has a length of almost 141 meters, a width of about 17 meters and a deadweight (carrying capacity) of up to 7.5 thousand tons in marine conditions. The volume of holds exceeds 11 thousand cubic meters. The autonomy of navigation is up to 20 days on the river and 12 days at sea. The Ice2 ice class allows the vessel to operate in difficult conditions, including northern water routes.
